Win the long game
In the world of investing, data should be king, but too often it’s lacking or opaque. Funds and strategies fold or morph, and older, failing data is put aside, with ‘new’ (freshly washed) track records coming into play. It’s a methodology that’s so common in the industry that we just tend to accept it as the way things are.
Which is one reason I feel particularly proud of our longest running trading method, with live results going back over a decade, and back-tested results going back 21 years!
If you’re already a user of the HAV Trading system, then I hope you’ve enjoyed pocketing the 17.8% profits we’ve seen already this year, with a trading method that’s so low-effort, you only need to log into your account once a week!
If you haven’t been able to take advantage of this yet, then please keep reading, because I’m keen to get as many Trader’s Bulletin readers started with HAV before you miss out on any more profits.
Last year, this made £10,894.62 profits, that’s 43.58% of a fixed £25k bank (not compounded).
So far this year, I’ve opened 10 trades. I’ve closed out profits of £3,410.79 (that includes trades run over from 2020), and have open profits of £1,035.10
If you want to see the full results going back to 2000, you can find them HERE.
How has this method managed to stay so successful for so long?
It’s down to the basic trading wisdom of following the long-term trend.
HAV Trading looks for established trends at the end of each week, and it rides them for weeks or months, collecting substantial profits. Of course, sometimes the signals will be wrong (false signals are part of trading), but by maximizing the profits when the market does get into its stride, we’ve easily outweighed any losses.
Don’t get me wrong – this isn’t exciting dynamic fast-paced trading. You won’t be buying and selling multiple times a day (while making your broker rich). It’s the steady earner that works in the background, requiring just a few minutes each weekend of management.
If you want the thrill of day trading – fine. But do that in the knowledge that you have something substantial working in the background for you.
Now, I mentioned earlier that I want to make this as easy to access as possible for as many traders as I can. That’s why it comes with a very generous 60-day risk-free trial. If you’re not 100% happy after 60 days, you can get a full refund.

Spread betting carries a risk to your capital, and you may lose more than your initial stake. HAVTrading may not be suitable for everyone. Ensure that you fully understand the risks involved prior to trading and seek independent financial advice if you have any doubt in the suitability of your speculation. Only speculate with money you can afford to lose.Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. In fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance trading results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading. For example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all of which can adversely affect actual trading results.
