I see Agora have, after several attempts to fix it, pulled the plug on Reaction Forex.

From the comments above and the lack of trades given more recently, I would say this is the right thing to do.

    Regards,

    Mark

  • In simple terms, I am finding this quite difficult.
Few trades, and if not sorted by the appropriate time, becomes a no-go.
I am sure there is more to this, so will remain interested.

I can’t even be bothered to add further comment at how laughably bad this guy is…

  • Interesting reading above..
I have just started, with zero baggage and similar knowledge.
Will add comments in due course.

    Hi Rich,

Thanks for the update, it’s not the greatest of start.

It will be interesting to read Alex’s weekly commentary, but he’s going to have to do much better than he has so far!

    Regards,

    Mark

P.S. In your original post you mentioned a strategy you used on a live account that was making you money? I’d still be interested in hearing more about this.

    Hi Mark

Yes another trade opened to accompany the loss today from the trade issued on Friday! Lets hope the frequency slows down a bit as I’m not sure how much more peoples accounts will stand at this rate.

    Trade Record
    1st – LOSS – This lost 3% of account
2nd – LOSS – Sell recommendation 7 days into a 30 day trade, losing another 1% of account

Another new trade from Adam, this time looking for a 300% return.

I’ve been surprised on the quantity of trades we’re getting now with Reaction Forex.

    Hi Rich,

Both you and Ian are posting your independent results, so I think we can be certain we are getting honest reviews?

Ian has even gone so far as to download his results and post them for complete transparency, If you can do the same then that would be great too.

I hope Ian will continue to post. I know he is a genuine member using his real name and is being completely transparent about who he is and his results.

My concern is he may decide it’s simply not worth the bother.

I do know what you mean about all reviews leading back to Agora, but this is to be expected to some degree as they are by far the biggest publisher.

Traders Bulletin is independent, we review products from lots of different publishers and we actively encourage contributions from anybody who is actively using a strategy, in fact I wish I could encourage more of you to do it as it would take the pressure off me a bit!

    Regards,

    Mark

P.S. I’m glad you like MRP and hope you’ll like it even more when you see the upgrade coming on Wednesday.

  • A

    Hi Rich,

I’ve no affiliate deal in place for Reaction Foreex, I’m simply reporting the results and make nothing from it (other than hopefully have my members trust my reviews)!

I know you’ve got a bee in your bonnet about this one and you may be right, but I think you are jumping the gun a bit and I’d prefer it if we could wait and see how it does first.

Maybe they should have launched it as it’s own standalone system? As calling it Reaction Forex brings along with it some baggage.

    Thanks,

    Mark

    • Rich Morely

      Hi Mark.

I don’t have a ‘bee in my bonnet’ about any particular service but having found your site, I do however think that people should get an honest view of a product.

The fact is that most sites lead back to one place – Agora which funnily enough is the publisher which makes it hard to get an objective view. Even then where honest, freedom of comment is allowed and not punctuated by fake comments, these types of services often don’t get good reviews.

Unfortunately Ian’s results above don’t tie in with many peoples experience of these systems. I wonder if he will be back to update his performance following the last two losing trades? And maybe he could factor in the cost of the service into his profit calculations which wipes out his profit?

Btw one I do like is the concept of the MRP system which I have adapted, managing to lower the risk and filter out some noise so that it runs pretty profitable at the moment.

      Rich

  • Rich Morely

    Hi Mark.

Evidently you make your money from selling these products so you wouldn’t want to prejudice your future income. But I’m pretty staggered that a modicum of trading knowledge and an understand of binary options cannot see this is fatally flawed. Quoting ridiculously high percentages with 150 pip barriers leaves no margin for error. Btw still no sign of any back test results from Agora.

    Trade Record
    1st – LOSS – This lost 3% of account
2nd – LOSS – Sell recommendation 7 days into a 30 day trade, losing another 1% of account
    3rd – Still open
4th – Same trade as second but this time the other direction (!). Wonder if this one will make it to 31 days…

  • A

New Trade signaled, that’s 3 since Alex took over and this ones going for a 200% return!

    Regards,

    Mark

  • Hi Rich
Which service makes you money / May I ask?

  • A

    Hi Rich,

I’m not against longer term trades, especially when you look at the success we’ve had with the HAVTrading strategy, but would like to have seen the new strategy document before getting the 1st trade.

Are you planning to follow the strategy? If so it would be great to have your independent results posted here.

One good thing about reaction forex compared to a lot of services, is there is no interpretation required, Adam will give you all the trade details and we just need to place them.

    Regards,

    Mark Rose

    • Rich Morely

      Hi Mark.

I am against long term trades, particularly for this type of betting.

      1. With a 70 pip movement in one day on the EUR/USD, when sending a signal that lasts for 31 days in the market that is only 200 pips from the current price you are going to have to be VERY accurate in your predictions.

      2. I would now have 6% or my account tied up for 31 days. If there are two signals per week that’s nearly 25% of my account in the market… with such small margins.

      3. The duration of the trades will simply mean it will take a lot longer for the full horror of the poor performance to come to light. Maybe that is the idea. I notice we have no performance figures to back up the validity of this new approach?

I took the liberty of re-downloading the manual to find that it has not even been updated! It is the same manual by ‘Lee Moore’ and the signals are now coming from the pseudonym ‘Adam Fitzgerald.’ Very poor.

Yes I will be following it (demo not live – for live I actually use a service which makes money) and am happy to share results.

      • A

They do seem to have gone from one extreme to the other.

With a 25% return Lee needed to maintain an 80% win rate to break-even, which is a tall order. At 150% returns Adam needs just a 40% win rate to do the same.

However, as you say his trades will be harder to win because of the long time periods involved.

I know they plan to send us an updated manual this week and Adam went some way to describing his approach last week.

I try not to prejudge the systems too much (unless they are obviously complete rubbish) as have been wrong before about what has and has not worked well.

I presume Adam will have had to prove his performance to Agora prior to taking over and suspect some performance results will start to filter out as they start marketing the strategy.

For me at the minute I think they just wanted to get the trades out, but weren’t quite ready with the manual/marketing material, which has caused some confusion.

Let’s see where we go from here.

        Regards,

        Mark

P.S. Yes we are always interested to hear about systems that are doing well, if you can let us know who it is that would be great.

        Thanks,

        Mark

  • Rich Morely

    Hi Mark,

A new trade just issued… 150% return but wait for it… it lasts 30 days! I feel very uncomfortable with this. It seems to me this service has been on a cycle of failure for years. It fails, loses money, then is re-branded and a new system put in place. To my mind it is one total scam. It’s never made a profit yet and I defy anyone to show me a string of results where it has. Looking forward to your ‘honest’ review.

    • Hi Rich
Can’t resist a challenge so I will list below my trades following these tips over the past 120 days. Not the biggest gambles I grant you but steady profit is what I like to see, Hope this copies in OK. You will see that the last column is my current balance in the a/c and it went from £116 to £188 in this period. Don’t see how that can be a scam?

Look like they’ve got a new editor lined up for this, i’m not surprised as the trades were a little slow in coming and tended to go for relatively small profit targets, that said Lee had won the last 7 in a row, which isn’t bad.

I’ll put this back on the list to test a will let you know how we do.

    Regards,

    Mark

  • Last recommended trade on 15th May – I couldn’t get in at 30%+ as quoted by Lee. When I checked betonmarkets website it showed less than 20% within few minutes of text message. Ultimately it turned out to be a losing trade.

  • A

The lack of a mobile platform is a shame if you are out and about, although you can take a look when your back to see what the returns look like then.

Originally when I first looked at this Lee was being selective in his trading and there weren’t enough signals. Of course he’s absolutely right to stay out of the market unless he’s sure, but it did make for a bit of a quiet patch.

These days he is trading more often and the results are going well with his latest USDJPY trade closing for a 30% profit last night.

    Regards,

    Mark

  • Buyers beware! No mobile platform for the recommended betting company & hence you may not be able to use the tips if you are away from a computer.

  • A

    Hi Joe,

Thanks for the feedback, I’m going to keep a closer eye on this one.

If possible it would be great if you could post your trade results here so we can see what the performance has been like for you?

    Many thanks,

    Mark

  • Mark I’ve been using this a while since it was Fix The Markets and I like it. And i actually prefer the new format of Reaction Forex. Before it was just an SMS message but now you get an email as well explaining why he fancies the trade. Plus there’s a weekly email giving useful insight from Lee.
Lee gets most of the trades right and in fact i usually get much better returns than the 30% he always states he is going for. You won’t make huge profits but if yuo trade every trade you should come out ahead. For me it’s the fixed profit/loss that’s attractive. Can’t get your fingers burned by more than expected!
Plus, the ‘Touch’ bets are really exciting. he did one recently that paid out in hours when the currency hit his level. And I made around 80% on that one (even though Lee only claimed 30%). Occasional returns like that can really provide a buffer in case of a loss (which the very next trade was!) cheers, Joe

  • @Nick, sorry you’ve got off to a bad start! If you ring Agora rather than waiting for an email, you will get a much better service! Having bought quite a few of their products, they are pretty good, but only if you ring.
I must admit my start has been a lot more smooth running.
1st bet ended with a win at 12 midnight 24th/25th April.
I don’t think I’ll get rich using this system, but its dead easy to implement and takes hardly anytime, so thats what I love. I think its good value to, especially for the first year. Long term, I’m going to try and compound!

  • A lot of hype surrounding this when I joined 2 weeks back, 15 wins from 17 attempts, duly signed up and received my first trade a few days later – lost! 15 from 18….then while waiting my second trade (they come via text message and email) received a sales offer from Reaction Forex, advertising it’s 19th trade….checked my email and my phone – nothing from reaction forex.
Contacted Agora (yes i know i should have known better – AGORA!!) and received an auto reply stating I could expect a reply in 48 hours….and in exactly 48 hours I received another email….this one thanking me for my correspondence, and that someone would be emailing me soon….meanwhile I’ll probably miss another trade!!
Not off to a great start!! Will update as we go along!
